Ebay ask you to forward spoof ebay emails to ***@ebay.com

I tried this but the e-mail was an attachment (under Posty) and so I sent it
to e-bay as an attachment. They could not accept this asking for a straight
forwarding!! I gave up!!

This is interesting.

For the first time ever, I received an invoice from "ebay", saying I had
bought a pair of Gucci sunglasses !!!
Well, knowing I hadn't bought anything ever from ebay (yet) I smelled a rat.

It so happens that, after losing a lot of Posty mail several years ago, I've
taken to saving the file,

!Voyager.Apps.Mail.Transport.InComming.Email

This is all text - although it represented an email with html attachment. I
simply sent it to ebay.

This was all within the last week.

I got a rather complicated reply which I haven't sorted out yet.

Meantime, I got another seemingly spoof email asking me to put in my bid for
something or other. I haven't done anything about that yet.

Maybe there's a sunspot that is affecting ebay ! ;-)
