Hows the current spam levels?

My sysadmin has tweaked the server again, so hopefully spam should be more
under control now.

Welcome news! I'll send Paul a breakdown of the last few days, to act
as a baseline, and I'll go on collecting data and will feedback in due
course.

With best wishes,

Peter. (with crossed fingers!)

It's much more even-handed now. Today I received an email claim form
from our Inland Revenue - and also one from the US's Inland Revenue,
both inviting me to claim my rebate. 8-)

I'm just awaiting the one in Euros.

At least these are new ones!

I have not had those.

But I did, yesterday, receive an invitation to claim
$150 000 from the Nigerian foreign ministry, compensation
for having been scammed by the Nigerian 419 gangs.

Seriuously, though, today, the spam from Orpheus seems to
have stopped
:-)

but so has the real e-mail. Hopefully this is just down to
people being slow in replying.

Email is working ok, as I've been receiving the usual amount this morning,
and no one has phoned up reporting problems.

33 spams just arrived via Dayna, Gan and Vila. SpamAssassin was only run
by Gan, not that it made a difference, since everything was Greylisted.
