Can't send mail.

I would have sent this to support, but I can't! I haven't been able to
send mail yet today; Hermes times out. News and mail fetch are OK.
Nothing helpful in Hermes' log. Nothing mentioned on the status page.

Is there a problem with the server, or is the problem with me?

Replied via email, but in case you're still having problems....

All systems go here, and no other reports of problems. Can you ping
pop.orpheusnet.co.uk?

I received your email ok, so I guess you can access WebMail ok, so your
connection must be ok.

Problem I think solved, by lateral thinking. I had two mails waiting
to go, and I've deleted these and have been able to send myself a test
message. So presumably there was something about these messages that
Hermes didn't like. But what, I wonder? I've got a lousy cold today,
and feel several degrees under, so I don't think I'll do too much
sleuthing for the present.
