I have just received an e-mail purporting to come from E-bay which asks me
about an item I have not (to my knowledge) put up for sale.

Unfortunately when I ask for details of the item I am asked to sign in with
password etc. so I cannot check anything.

I am assuming this is a scam - am I correct?

John

If you go to Ebay using your normal route and then 'my ebay' you'll find a
copy of every genuine email sent by them.
