JPEG Received

I received a JPEG today and when I tried to have it reproduced, I had a
message as follow:

"PPM output must be gray scale or RGB"

I have never had this before and would appreciate guidance on what I should
do. In the meantime I have asked the sender what machine they use and if
they have any ideas.

I have now heard from the sender who told me that they tried copuing two

items from the same source. They have now separately transmitted the photo
bu I cannot save it on its own but always get the email itself despite the
fact that I had saved it out of argonet.
