News and spam on Orpheus today

I'm touching wood while typing this, but can I just thank whoever it is
who's running Orpheus following the unfortunate death of Paul Vigay?

Since learning to untick a couple of newsgroups the up- and downloading
of news has been very prompt & quick, while spam levels are also low.

Thanks and well done, whoever you are. :)

An experience and a sentiment I share. Bill suggested a future linked to
something bigger. I appreciate all that is being done, but it would help if
the future could be clarified for the loyal RISC OS / argonet / orpheus
community, including its many business users.
